The Practical Photography Group (PPG)

The main aim of our group is to encourage individual members to interact and share their knowledge and experience to help all members
to develop their photographic skills at whatever level of ability.

As you will see from our group name Practical Photography Group (PPG), the majority of our meetings are dedicated to practical use of
the camera and little on theory.

We also go on photo shoots on certain Tuesday evenings (weather permitting), some of the locations we have been to recently are:-
Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies, Linlithgow Palace, the Forth Bridges to name but a few.

All members are required to participate in our “Monthly challenge” on a topic which is determined by the winner of the previous challenge, this involves submitting up to a maximum of three digital image of the topic for that particular challenge, all images are to be re-sized to 1024 Pixels on the longest side of the image, and a Resolution (PPI)  of 96 Pixels and then shown via our projector and voted on by all members, then the winner will choose the topic for the following challenge.
