As Scotland’s only International Horse Trials, the event quickly established itself as one of the country’s leading equestrian events, attracting world-class riders from across Scotland, the UK and wider Europe.
Set against the historic backdrop of Scone Palace, crowning place of Scotland’s Kings, you will find all of the extras that make it a day out to remember. International Ayr Show Festival of Flight On Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026

The wait is almost over for the 2026 International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight, taking place at Ayr shorefront on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September. With a spectacular line-up of aerial displays and a huge range of activities, food and drink, and trade stalls in the Festival Village, it’s Scotland’s biggest and most exciting free event of the year! To help you plan ahead and enjoy the best experience possible, here’s a quick round-up of everything you need to know and book beforehand. We look forward to seeing you there!

Advance Tickets can be purchased online and used on either Saturday OR Sunday.
Advance Ticket sales close at midnight on Saturday 12th September.-

ADMISSION Free Adults £15.00
Senior Citizens (65 years and over) and Youths (aged 12-16 years) £10.00
Under 12’s (accompanied by parent/guardian) Free.

Please bring your booking confirmation with you on the day – either on your smartphone or printed.-
It will not be possible to admit anyone without the booking confirmation and another ticket would have to be purchased on the day.
